Fins Salvimar Speeder

• Fishing fin for pure freediving consisting of foot pocket with incorporated insole and removable blade.
• Ergonomic rubber foot pocket with differentiated thickness, excellent comfort. Rigid PP insole incorporated in the molding phase.
• Polypropylene side clips fused to the side member blade molded in polypropylene with differentiated thickness: rear portion 3.5mm thick, tip 1.8mm thick rails under the foot pocket.
• The Speeder Fin is the the result of careful research in the the dynamics of movement.
• During the development phase, in addition to paying particular attention to the characteristics of the two components that make up a fin, foot pocket and blade, we implemented the interaction between them through the improvement of the coupling system, effectively improving the overall functionality of the product.
• The foot-pocket is the element that unites the fisherman to the blade and it is through it that all the power is unloaded on the blade to transform it into movement.
• For maximum efficiency of the Speeder fin, we’ve moved the side rails under the sole of the foot: this made it possible to greatly improve comfort and at the same time increase the thrust with the same effort.
• The side rails are also equipped with internally fused side clips which guarantee excellent mechanical adhesion to the blade, avoiding steps and hydrodynamic turbulence.
• We have also given the foot-pocket a particular shape with variable thicknesses to obtain a remarkable mechanical resistance of the material combined with lightness and rigidity: to a soft upper we have in fact combined a rigid insole incorporated in the molding phase which guarantees excellent energy transfer from the diver to the blade.
• The blade is molded in polypropylene: to ensure the best propulsive thrust and an excellent elastic return while minimizing the kicking effort, the blade has been made with variable thickness: while in the heel it has a thickness of 3.5 mm the tip has a thickness 1.8 mm.
