Mask C4 Skyline Anti Fog Black

• The name SKYLINE evokes a panoramic vision — exactly what this mask provides.
• Its extremely wide field of view offers a true “panoramic” experience, thanks to a specially shaped single-lens frameless design that expands the visual angle at the top (12 o’clock) and the lower sides (4 and 8 o’clock).
• The result is an incredible spatial effect and the unique sensation of not wearing a mask at all.
• The SKYLINE mask lenses feature an innovative double plasma treatment, which makes the glass surface hydrophilic.

Instructions for use and maintenance of antifog masks with plasma treatment

• The lenses of any mask – with or without antifog treatment – may fog up if contaminated by dirt or if not cleaned properly.
• Masks with this antifog treatment are designed to eliminate the need for the initial treatment normally required for all new masks.
• This initial treatment is intended to remove residues of oils and silicone greases used during the molding of silicone skirts.
• These residues are the main cause of fogging and are often difficult to remove even after repeated cleaning operations.
• To activate the antifog system of these masks, carefully follow the procedure described immediately before wearing them:

    - immerse the mask in clean water for about 3 minutes,
    - gently rub the entire internal surface of the lenses with your fingertips, leaving a thin layer of water and making sure your fingers are perfectly clean,
    - rinse with clean water.

It is important to note that an antifog mask may still fog up if the internal surfaces are not kept in proper clean conditions.

Usage recommendations

1. Prevention of lens contamination

    - Avoid contact with greasy or oily substances (e.g. sunscreens, cosmetic or protective oils).
    - Never touch the inner lenses with dirty or dry fingers.
    - Be aware that pool water may leave residues or stains depending on the dissolved chemical products.

2. Managing temperature differences

    - Temperature differences between the inside and outside of the mask can generate condensation.
    - To reduce this phenomenon, it is recommended to wet both the face and the mask before use in order to equalize the temperature.
    - Typical cases of condensation formation:

        - pools with warm water in very humid environments,
        - sea dives with warm air and cooler water.

3. Cleaning the inner lenses

    - Clean the inner lenses before each use.
    - If maintenance is regular and dirt is minimal, rinsing with running water is sufficient.

    - In the presence of persistent dirt, carry out a preliminary cleaning using:

        - a non-greasy detergent diluted in fresh water, such as dishwashing liquid, or
        - a specific product for masks, such as Absolute Cleaner or Extreme Antifog.

    - The use of other antifog products may be effective, but has not been tested and therefore their effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.
    - Alternatively, the traditional method of applying saliva followed by thorough rinsing immediately before use may be adopted.
